What does it meant to not kill/murder/take a life? What does it mean to preserve one’s life and/or the lives of others? Are there just means in taking a life? How does the sixth commandment speak to wider issues of life like: euthanasia, capital punishment, when life begins, poverty, education, etc.?
In this episode of The Podechesis Podcast, the guys talk about the questions in John Wesley’s Revision of the Westminster Shorter Catechism that deal with the 6th commandment (On not killing). They will talk about the nuances of the commandment as well as its wider implications to how we live moral and ethical lives.
